Tina Kaczor, ND, FABNO, is a naturopathic physician, board certified in naturopathic oncology. She received her naturopathic doctorate from National College of Natural Medicine, and completed her residency in naturopathic oncology at Cancer Treatment Centers of America in Tulsa, Okla. Dr. Kaczor received undergraduate degrees from the State University of New York at Buffalo. She is the current treasurer of the Oncology Association of Naturopathic Physicians and secretary of the American Board of Naturopathic Oncology. She is adjunct faculty at National College of Natural Medicine as well as the Helfgott Research Institute in Portland, Ore. She has published in several peer-reviewed journals.

Karolyn A. Gazella is a veteran publisher in the field of integrative medicine with more than 17 years of experience. She is the founding publisher of the journal Integrative Medicine and has written hundreds of articles for both consumers and healthcare professionals on the topic of natural medicine. She is the co-author of the Definitive Guide to Cancer, Return to Beautiful Skin, and her most recent book, Boost Your Health With Bacteria. She is the creator and managing editor of the Healthy Living Guide series of booklets and books available through Better Nutrition magazine. Karolyn was recently acknowledged as one of the "Top 10 People from 2009 in Integrative Health Care and Integrative Medicine" by the Integrator Blog.

Deirdre Shevlin Bell has more than 10 years’ experience in health and wellness publishing. She has worked on publications for both consumers (including as managing editor of Alternative Medicine magazine, senior editor of Pilates Style magazine, and health editor of Healing Lifestyles and Spas) and professionals. She is passionate about broadening public awareness of matters related to natural health. Deirdre holds a Bachelor of Science in linguistics from Georgetown University.

Miriam has directed all aspects of print and online media, and has published and launched award-winning magazines and newsletters. Her expertise in Web 2.0 research, strategy, and execution derives both from transforming print products into integrated online experiences and as Account Director at a leading social media analytics firm. Miriam’s client list has ranged from natural product start-ups to LOHAS lynchpins like Whole Foods, Vitamin World, and the Chopra Center. She’s also worked with mass-market giants such as General Mills, Chrysler, Levi Strauss, Sony, Janus Funds, and Beam Global. Miriam is a recent graduate of the executive program for Sustainability Management at the Presidio School in San Francisco and holds a B.A in English from Duke University.

Tony is a veteran web developer and journalist/photographer. His company Best Idea Yet specializes in web development and provides photography, marketing consulting and print collateral design. He was Project Manager of TeamNet, WorldCom's enterprise-wide Intranet serving more than 13,000 employees. Tony has a wealth of experience in marketing and journalism and was a staff photographer for Houston City Magazine and The Houston Oilers professional football team. He was Marketing Manager for Americana Sportswear, MicroSearch, Inc. and The National College for Criminal Defense. He was a member of the application development team for Avolent Inc., working on Java-based Internet Customer Care and Electronic Billing software and served as Web Services Manager.

Lise Alschuler, ND, FABNO, is a naturopathic physician with board certification in naturopathic oncology and a graduate of Bastyr University where she received her naturopathic doctorate. Dr. Alschuler has been in practice for over 15 years. She is the immediate past-President of the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians and member of the American Board of Naturopathic Oncology Board of Medical Examiners. Dr. Alschuler is the Vice President of Quality and Education at Emerson Ecologics, a supplement distribution company based in Bedford NH. She also provides naturopathic oncology at Naturopathic Specialists, based out of Scottsdale AZ. Previous to this, she was Director of naturopathic medicine at Cancer Treatment Centers of America, a JCAHO accredited regional hospital specializing in comprehensive integrative cancer located north of Chicago. Dr. Alschuler co-authored The Definitive Guide to Cancer: An Integrative Approach to Prevention, Treatment and Healing (Celestial Arts, 2007). Geo Espinosa, ND, LAc, CNS, is the Director of the Integrative Urological Center at New York University Langone Medical Center. He is a licensed naturopathic doctor, licensed acupuncturist, a certified nutrition specialist and a registered herbalist. Dr. Espinosa did his residency/fellowship at Columbia University Medical Center. He is a member of the American Urology Association, the American Herbalist Guild, American Association of Naturopathic Physicians, and American Association of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. Dr. Espinosa is an author of the naturopathic entry in 1000 Cures for 200 ailments, and Prostate cancer - Nutrients that may slow its progression in Food and Nutrients in Disease Management.

Carl Hangee-Bauer, ND, Lac, is the President of the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians (AANP) and owner of San Francisco Natural Medicine where he integrates naturopathic medicine with acupuncture and traditional chinese medicine to provide natural health solutions to improve health and treat disease. He received his doctorate of naturopathic medicine from Bastyr University. He is a founding member and past president of the California Naturopathic Doctors Association and is one of the first Naturopathic Doctors to be licensed in California. In 2004, he was appointed by Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger to the California Bureau of Naturopathic Medicine Advisory Council.

Karen E. Howard serves as the Executive Director for the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians (AANP). Howard is responsible for overseeing the AANP, the nation’s only national professional organization representing licensed naturopathic physicians, and ensuring that it fulfills its mission. The AANP is committed to changing the current healthcare system from one that treats disease to one that promotes health. In addition, the organization is actively engaged in state and national discussions with policy makers and industry experts to affect change. Howard has spent almost 25 years working with Congress, state legislatures and healthcare provider organizations to develop innovative healthcare policy and programs for public and private organizations. She has also served in a variety of executive positions and worked as a national lobbyist on Capitol Hill. Her policy experience is in mental health, managed care, integrative medicine, and natural medicine.

Marcus Webb, BSc, ND, DO, is a registered Naturopath and Osteopath with clinics in London and Scotland. He qualified in 1988 from the British College of Osteopathic medicine (formally the British College of Naturopathy and Osteopathy) where he served as a part-time lecturer for four years. Marcus has a special professional interest in the nutritional management of osteoporosis and chronic pain disorders using medical acupuncture. He continues to lecture to special interest groups as well as writing and broadcasting for the public in magazines and on his popular alternative health call-in BBC radio show.
