The Literature Review is a summary of previous research that has been done on a topic and should focus on a specific nutrient, condition, or healing modality, such as diet, lifestyle, or physical manipulation, for example. Areas that are addressed in the Literature Review include: what we know about the topic, the current state of research about this area, what gaps exist in the research or our understanding of the subject, aspects of the topic that have spurred debate, and what further study needs to be accomplished to better understand the issue. For submitting a Literature Review, please identify the sources of information that were useful in your research and follow the Editorial Guidelines.
